Henan Township

Henan Township, belonging to Keshan County, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, is adjacent to Jincheng township of Kedong County in the East, Xingnong town of Baiquan County across Runjin River in the south, Shuanghe Township in the West and Henan Township across Wuyuer River in the north, with a total administrative area of 210.82 square kilometers.

In 1984, Henan commune was changed into Henan township. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Henan was 30048. In 2019, rural Henan governs nine administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 12 industrial enterprises and 3 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Henan township.

Historical evolution

Henan Township got its name because it was located on the South Bank of Wuyuer.

In the early Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the vice capital of Qiqihar, Heilongjiang general.

Guangxu 33 years (1907), is manggong directly under the central government.

In 1938, the village office was set up.

In 1945, the Federation of the two districts was reformed.

In the 36th year of the Republic of China (January 1947), it was changed into two districts. In 1949, it was renamed Henan district.

In 1958, He'nan commune was changed. In 1984, the commune was transformed into a township.
