Jixing Township

Jixing Township, belonging to Mulan County, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the south of Mulan County, on the North Bank of the middle reaches of Songhua River, bordering Mulan town and Jianguo Township in the East, Shengli town and Xindian town in Bin County across the Songhua River in the south, Liuhe Town in the West and Lidong town in the north. In 2018, the area was 144.5 square kilometers, and the registered residence was 22389.

In the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the first and third districts of Mulan county. In October 1950, it belonged to the third district. In July 1981, it was renamed Jixing commune. In March 1984, the commune was transformed into a township.

By the end of 2019, Jixing rural has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages.

In June 1956, it was divided into three townships: Jixing, nanlidong and Gongyi.

In March 1958, the three townships were merged into Hongxing commune.

In July 1981, it was renamed Jixing commune.

In March 1984, the commune was transformed into a township.
