Shangming Township

Shangming township is located 10 kilometers northwest of Lanxian County, adjacent to Tuyu Township in the East, dasheatou Township in the north, Puming town in the west, Dongcun town in the south, and xinhei line of provincial highway runs through the whole area. It has jurisdiction over 13 administrative villages and 30 natural villages. With a total area of 115.24 square kilometers, a total of 3362 households, a population of 15580 people (2017), and a cultivated land area of 39600 mu, it is one of the four major townships in the county. It is a major grain producing area in the county, and has the reputation of "miliangchuan". There are copper, silicon, crystal, quartz and other proven minerals in the territory.
