Heping Road Street

Heping Road Street in Yaohai district is located in the east section of Heping Road, with the division scope of Dangtu Road in the East, East 1st ring road in the west, Huainan railway special line in the north and Heyu road in the south. It covers an area of 2.36 square kilometers and has a population of 59200. It has five community committees, namely Fanchang Road, Huaye, Digang Road, Lvyuan and Dangtu Road. The resident units in the jurisdiction mainly include Anhui No.2 construction engineering company, Anhui aneng Thermal Power Co., Ltd., Hefei Public Transport Group Corporation, Hefei second people's Hospital, Hefei No.38 middle school, No.41 middle school, Yuying high school, Heping Road Primary School, Heping Road Primary School East school, Datong Road Primary School and more than 20 enterprises and institutions.

Evolution of organizational system

In the early days of liberation, Heping Road area was originally a wilderness. In 1954, a number of textile enterprises, such as Anhui No.1 Cotton textile factory, Anhui No.2 cotton textile factory (commonly known as Anyang No.1 Factory and Anyang No.2 factory) and Anhui printing and dyeing factory, were successively built in this area. The workers' living area was built, and the road leading to the urban area was built and named Heping Road. At the beginning of the construction of the mill, there were only 16 bungalows and more than 700 households in Heping Road area. At that time, it was called "dormitory area of cotton mill". In 1957, the family Committee of Anfang was established. In 1962, it was divided into the first neighborhood committee of Anfang and the second neighborhood committee of Anfang.

In 1965, the third neighborhood committee and the fourth neighborhood committee of Heyu were set up. Heping Road sub district office was officially set up in, which was one of the four sub district offices initially set up in the eastern urban area. At the beginning of its establishment, the office had jurisdiction over five neighborhood committees, namely, Anfang I, Anfang II, Anfang III, Gangnan and Heyu IV. the office was located in the northwest of the intersection of Heping Road and Tongling Road, and its jurisdiction was roughly the same as that of Datong Road, Heping Road and Hongguang in 2005. In 1968, Heping Road sub district office was abolished, and its scope was divided into three parts, each of which set up an organization, and Heping Road sub district Revolutionary Committee was established in Anfang area.

In 1980, it was renamed Heping Road sub district office. In 1997, it covers an area of 2.5 square kilometers and has a population of 19000. It has jurisdiction over seven neighborhood committees of No.1 and No.2 Textile village, No.2 Textile village, No.3 textile village, No.2 Jian village, antuodong village and luosigang, and five family committees of No.1 textile factory, No.2 Textile Factory, printing and dyeing factory, No.1 textile machinery factory and No.2 Jian company. On May 31, 2005, the residents' group of Tongling No.3 village, Datong Street in the east of Nanling Road, was put under the jurisdiction of Heping Road street. By the end of 2005, it had an area of 2.5 square kilometers and a population of 24000. In April 2016, according to the relevant requirements of the city and district on the adjustment of the administrative jurisdiction of street residents, the original Heping Road Street and Datong Road street were merged into a new Heping Road street.
