Wangka Township, Chaya County, Changdu City, Tibet Autonomous Region is 49 kilometers away from the county seat, with an average altitude of 3800 meters and an area of 457.26 square kilometers. Wangka township is adjacent to the extended Township in the East, xinka Township in the west, yanduo town in the south, kentong Township in the north and Tuoba Township in karuo District in the northwest.

Gillette village is the residence of township government. Wangka Township now governs 13 administrative villages, 47 natural villages, Banu and zenu are animal husbandry villages, and the rest are semi agricultural and semi pastoral villages. There are 5908 people (2017) and 19879 livestock in the township.
