Xinfa Town, subordinate to Wudalianchi City, Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the southwest of Wudalianchi City, adjacent to Huayuan farm in the East, Baoquan Town, Kedong County, Qiqihar City in the south, Huashan farm, Heping Town and Jianshe Township in the west, and Qingshan street in the north. It is 9 km away from Wudalianchi City, with a total administrative area of 151.55 square kilometers.

In 1929, Xinfa town was subordinate to the Second District of dedu Administrative Bureau. In 2015, Xinfa township was changed into Xinfa town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in new town was 16811. In 2019, Xinfa town governs 1 community and 10 administrative villages of Xinfa community, and the people's government is stationed in Xinfa village.

In 2018, Xinfa town had 13 industrial enterprises and 20 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters. On July 24, 2019, Xinfa town was selected into the list of national strong agricultural towns in 2019.

History of construction

In 1929, it was put under the jurisdiction of the Second District of the administrative bureau of dedu. In April 1933, it belonged to the Southern District. In March 1938, it belonged to Nanhe village. In March 1946, it belonged to Nanhe district. In June 1949, Nanhe district was renamed five districts.

In February 1956, Xinfa Township, De'an district.

In September 1958, it was incorporated into Qingshan commune as Xinfa management area.

In April 1964, the management areas of De'an and Xinfa merged into Xinfa commune.

In May 1983, Xinfa commune was transformed into Xinfa township.

In 2015, Xinfa township was changed into Xinfa town.
