Yongqing Township

Old town name. See Dahe Town for details. Yongqing township is located in the west of Nanbu County, adjacent to Sanguan town in the East, Jianxing town in the south, Dahe Town in the west, macroscopic Township and Shiquan Township in the north, Tangba line in the South and Dasheng highway in the north.

The township covers an area of 17.67 square kilometers, with 8012 mu of cultivated land, including 3507 mu of paddy field and 4505 mu of dry land. The township governs 12 administrative villages, 87 communes, 2247 households, with a total population of 9746 (including 214 non-agricultural population), and a per capita cultivated area of 0.87 mu.

Yongqing township is one of the basic industrial bases of grain and oil, sericulture, pig, wheat and sweet potato determined by our county. The main food crops are rice, wheat, corn and sweet potato. The total agricultural production value of the township is 30.29 million yuan, the per capita net income is 3069 yuan, and the grain output is 5754 tons.

Economic overview

The total rural economic income of the township reached 25.29 million yuan, an increase of 10% over the previous year, of which the total agricultural income was 11.93 million yuan, the export of labor services was 3357, and the labor service income was 13.36 million yuan. The annual total grain output was 4558 tons, an increase of 2.2% over the previous year. The total vegetable output was 3420 tons. There were 10647 live pigs in the market, 1.12 pigs in Renping market, 2453 silkworms, 73460 kg cocoons and 16 tons of cotton. The per capita net income of farmers was 2593 yuan, an increase of 12% over the previous year. The township takes grain, live pig, cocoon, labor export, cotton and vegetables as the pillar industries. In 2004, 4395 mu of cultivated land was occupied by grain, 3617 mu of cultivated land was occupied by cash crops, and the ratio of grain to economy was 6:4. The township government is committed to vigorously adjusting the industrial structure. In 2004, it introduced 1500 mu of pumpkin from Hainan, and achieved good economic benefits.
