Longmen street is located in the Midwest of Longjing City. It is adjacent to Jianshe street and Anmin street in the East, Dongcheng Town of Helong city in the west, Hailan River in the south, Maoershan in the north and Yanji City, with a total area of 40.7 square kilometers. The total population of 17299 households is 46097 (in 2010), of which the Korean nationality accounts for 62%. It has jurisdiction over 7 communities, including Longmen, Qianjin, Beixin, Tiebei, Hexi, Weixin and Longchi, and 200 resident groups.

In 1988, Longmen street and Hexi street were built in Longjing town. In 1997, Longmen Street covers an area of 2.4 square kilometers, with a population of 23000. It governs 17 neighborhood committees, including Dacheng, Jiangnan, Beixin, Longfeng, Tiebei, Xingbei, Tienan, Longbei, Zhongguang, Qianjin, Benkang, Longmen, Gongyuan, Shangshang, Minsheng, Chengcheng and Mingsheng. Hexi Street covers an area of 1.7 square kilometers, with a population of 20000. It governs Dongxing, Longjiang, Hexi, Yannong, Longchi, sanfengdong and Nong There are 13 neighborhood committees, namely, Changchang, Nanyang, Lishu, Xingxin, Xinxin, Fenglin and Fengxin. In 2001, Hexi street was abolished and put under the jurisdiction of Longmen street.
