Township Construction

The Township People's government is located in Tuanjie Village (formerly known as Qikou), which is located on the South Bank of the lower reaches of Qingyin River, 5km west of the county. There used to be a seven or eight meter long street with random rubble. There were 10 small shops and several houses beside the street. In 1958, Youxi Shaxian highway passed through here. By 1985, enterprise buildings had been built along both sides of the highway, forming a new street. From 1982 to 1985, the township government invested 100000 yuan to extend the street along the highway to the gate of Tuanjie middle school, and built 18 meters wide and 2 kilometers long concrete pavement. During the period of the Republic of China, Lu Xingming, commander of the second division of the army, built a house in houshandu, covering an area of more than 5000 square meters, which is the largest building in the area. During the land reform, the house was not returned to the public and served as the office of the Township People's government until 1982. from 1950 to 1969, there were two-story supply and Marketing Cooperative complex buildings, primary school buildings and civil structure venues. After 1969, the school buildings of Tuanjie middle school, health center, post and telecommunications office, forestry station, tax office and other buildings have been built in succession. In 1979, a new comprehensive building with three stories of brick and wood structure was built, covering an area of 3500 square meters. In 1982, the first air-conditioned theater in the county was built with brick concrete structure, with a construction area of 2500 square meters. In July 1984, a four storey building of the township cultural station was built. In November of the same year, a five storey building of the township government was built with a construction area of 4400 square meters. In 1976, seven stone arch highway bridges across the Qingyin River were built, leading to Panshan.
