Chegan township is located in the southeast of Linxian County, Luliang City, Shanxi Province, 35 kilometers away from the county seat. It is estimated that in 2008, a large coal enterprise with 10 million tons of main wellhead will start construction in zhaojiata village, which will be a new beginning for the township to take the road of strengthening the township through industry and the top priority of production adjustment. therefore, the township will try its best to provide all conveniences, create a first-class environment and let TISCO group settle down in the township as soon as possible. In addition, DUJIAGOU coal mine has undergone several storms and has taken on a new look. The restructuring of the mine with an annual output of 600000 tons has been basically completed, and it can produce at full capacity within this year.

Infrastructure construction

School construction:

The reconstruction and expansion projects of 15 primary schools and one township level middle school in 15 administrative villages have been completed and put into use. The total investment is about 3.5 million yuan. Its completion has completely changed the teaching facilities in the township. It solves the problem that children are difficult to go to school.

Water conservancy project construction:

With an investment of 3.2 million yuan, the problem of draught for all villages except zhaojiata and shenyugou was solved. With an investment of 3.3 million yuan, 2 key dams and more than 30 medium and small dams have been built to control soil erosion. More than 300 mu of new dams have been built, and the annual income has increased by 300000 yuan, which has become a new highlight of income generation in the township.

Highway construction:

With an investment of 800000 yuan, the 8 km road from Zhongdi to DUJIAGOU was paved with oil. With an investment of 1.2 million yuan, a 25 km road around the township was opened. It has basically solved the needs of mass production and travel.

Resettlement project construction:

With an investment of 6 million yuan, 85 small second floors of houses have been built in chegan village, with supporting facilities such as drainage and transportation. More than 300 people from 83 households in Geduo and qingjiayan villages of Shangjia can move to new houses, successfully realizing the goal of overall migration of the two natural villages.
