Wugongtai Town, subordinate to Hutubi County, Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the middle of the county, adjacent to Hutubi town and Yuanhucun town in the East, queergou town in the south, Dafeng Town in the west, and fangcaohu Lake in the Sixth Agricultural Division of BINGTUAN in the north. In 1984, Wugongtai township was established. In 2001, Wugongtai town was built. In October 2019, Wugongtai town governs one community and 13 administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 42 industrial enterprises in Wugongtai town and 12 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
