Sanhe Township
Sanhe Township, subordinate to Jingning County, Pingliang City, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Jingning County. It is the intersection zone of the two provinces and three counties. It is adjacent to Yuanan Township in the East, jieshipu town in the south, Qingjiang and Laojun Township in the northwest, and Sanhe Town in Xiji County of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in the north. It covers an area of 93 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 10488 households in three rural households registered residence.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to Gaojie township. In September 1958, Sanhe commune was established and merged into Gaojie commune in October. In December 1961, Sanhe commune was restored. In November 1983, it was changed into Sanhe township. As of June 2020, Sanhe township has jurisdiction over 12 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in Guanghua village.
In 2018, there will be more than three industrial supermarkets in Hexiang with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to Gaojie township.
In August 1949, it belonged to the fourth district (Gaojie).
In September 1958, Sanhe commune was established and merged into Gaojie commune in October.
In December 1961, Sanhe commune was restored.
In November 1983, it was changed into Sanhe township.

The frost disaster occurred on May 4, 2004, which affected 49069 Mu crops of 2517 households in 13 villages, reduced grain production by 5.58 million kg and caused direct economic loss of 4.09 million yuan.
