Xinxin Township, belonging to Fuyu City, Songyuan City, Jilin Province, is located in the north of Fuyu City, 50 kilometers away from Fuyu city in the South and 173 kilometers away from Changchun City in the southwest; it faces Shuangcheng District of Heilongjiang Province across the river in the East, gongpengzi town in the south, dalinzi town in the West and Desheng Town in the north. The total administrative area is 177 square kilometers.
In 1961, a new commune was set up in anlinzi commune, and in September 1983, it was changed into Xinxin township. By the end of 2018, 25813 people had registered residence in the township. As of June 2020, 12 administrative villages will be under the jurisdiction of rural renewal.
In 2011, the total revenue of the township was 1.2 million yuan.
