Guangming township is located in the southeast of the county, 11 kilometers away from the county government. It covers an area of 113.4 square kilometers and has a population of 7000. Mao (county) North (Sichuan) highway transit. It has jurisdiction over seven village committees: Horseshoe, Shangguan, Heping, Shengli, Mingjiao, Zhongxin and Daoxi.
