The new town is located in the east of Yingjiang County, 31 kilometers away from the county. It borders Lianghe County in the East, Nandi River in the south, old towns in the west, Shiren Mountain in the west, Pingyuan town and Lianhuashan Township in the East, and mangzhang Township in the north. The maximum horizontal distance from east to west is 23.6 km, and the maximum vertical distance from north to south is 29 km.

Basic information: the new town has a long history of culture and is an important channel of the ancient Southern Silk Road. It is the hometown of Dao Anren, a patriot and Democrat of the former Ganya Xuanfu department. The tomb of Dao Anren, a "frontier fortress man", is listed as a provincial cultural relic protection unit. There are bamboo and wood forests in the territory. It has the first rubber tree introduced to Fenghuang Mountain in 1904. It has charming scenery of Binglang River, and many scenic spots such as Dafo temple and Wangyue tower. It is an ideal tourist landscape area. Areca power station, the second largest power station in Dehong, has 18 thousand and 900 kilowatts of installed capacity, which is rich in citrus, grapefruit, jackfruit and other tropical fruits. It is the hometown of grain and cane production base in Yingjiang. geographical climate and resource advantages: the terrain is slightly triangular from northeast to southwest, higher in Northeast and lower in southwest. The Binglang river flows from north to south, and Xiandi river flows into Daying River from east to southwest. The highest altitude is 2371 meters, the lowest 820 meters, and the township government is 850 meters above sea level. It has a subtropical monsoon climate, with an annual average temperature of 19.3 ℃, frost period of 40 days, annual sunshine of 2865 hours and annual rainfall of 1464 mm. It is rich in mineral resources, high forest coverage, a wide range of biological species and rich vegetation. It is suitable for the cultivation and growth of various crops, tropical and subtropical fruits. There are East and West highways in the area, and it is adjacent to Luying Road, so the transportation is more convenient.
