Xinglong Township
Xinglong Township, subordinate to Jingyuan County, Baiyin City, Gansu Province, is located in the north of Jingyuan County, adjacent to Yongxin Township in the East, Shuanglong Township in the South and West, the Yellow River in the north and Wufo Township in Jingtai County, with a total administrative area of 151.68 square kilometers.
After September 1949, it belonged to the Fourth District Office of Jingyuan; in 1983, it was changed to Xinglong Township. By the end of 2018, the population of registered residence in Xing lung township was 11810. In June 2020, Xinglong rural area has jurisdiction over eight administrative villages.
In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in Xinglong Township was 2760 yuan. In 2018, Xinglong Township has one industrial enterprise and 20 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to Beichen Township Office.
After September 1949, it belonged to the Fourth District Office of Jingyuan.
In 1958, it was changed into Xinglong commune.
In 1963, it was under the jurisdiction of Chuankou district.
In 1968, the commune was restored.
In 1983, it was changed to Xinglong Township.
