Qingyang Town

Qingyang Town, belonging to Huinan County, Tonghua City, Jilin Province, is located in the southeast of Huinan County. It borders shidaohe town in the East, Fumin town in the south, Huinan town in the west, Huifa town in the north and Songshan town in Panshi City in the northeast, with a total area of 121.8 square kilometers.

In 1909, Qingyang Town belonged to Haibao society of Huinan Zhili hall; in 1993, Qingyang township was changed from township to town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Qingyang town was 14485. As of June 2020, Qingyang Town has 15 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the people's Government of Qingyang Town is located in the first and fourth quarters of Qingyang village.

History of construction

In the first year of Xuantong (1909), Huinan hall was set up in the East eight societies of xihailong hall, belonging to Haibao society of Huinan Zhili hall.

In the 12th year of the Republic of China (1923), it was changed into four districts, located in zhongyangpu, belonging to changniangou village. In 1932, qingyangjia was established. In 1936, it belonged to zhongyangbao village. In 1945, it belonged to changniangou village, Huinan district.

In 1956, it belonged to the first district of Huinan and changed to Qingyang township.

In 1958, it belonged to Huinan town and was changed to Qingyang management area.

In 1961, Huinan, shidaohe and Huifacheng communes were analyzed and Qingyang commune was established.

In October 1983, Qingyang commune was changed into Qingyang township.

In 1993, Qingyang township was changed from township to town.

In October 2005, zhongyangbao township was merged into Qingyang Town.
