Shuanghe Township
Shuanghe township is a township administrative unit under the jurisdiction of Yanyuan County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Shuanghe township was established in 1951, changed to commune in 1958, and restored to township in 1984. Located in the south of the county, 7 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 161.08 square kilometers and has a population of 22789 (2017). The road is open. It has jurisdiction over seven village committees, namely yangliuqiao, huangshagou, Wudongqiao, Fenghuang, xiaobaozi, gubaishu and yangliutang. Agricultural production of apple, tobacco, pepper, rice, corn, cereals. Animal husbandry is mainly pig and poultry. In 1987, there were more than 30 pieces of cultural relics from maojiaba tomb group, among which the bronze drum was cast in the spring and Autumn period.
On June 12, 2020, the people's Government of Sichuan Province decided to abolish Shuanghe township.

The climate of the whole town has four distinct seasons. The annual temperature difference is small, and the daily temperature difference is large. The frost free period of the whole year is 201 days. The average annual temperature is 12.1 ℃, the highest temperature is 30.7 ℃, and the lowest temperature is minus 11.3 ℃. The county is dry in winter and spring, with concentrated rainfall in summer and autumn, hot and rainy in the same season, and sufficient sunshine. It has the typical three-dimensional climate characteristics of "one mountain is divided into four seasons, ten miles are different days", with an average annual precipitation of 855.2 mm.
Natural resources
There are 41 kinds of mineral resources such as salt, iron, coal, gold and copper in the territory; there are many kinds of rare animals such as black crowned crane, bear and water deer; there are many famous and high-quality products such as apple and golden edge melon seeds, which is the largest apple production base in Southwest China.
