Beimen street is located in the north end of Jizhou city. It governs eight communities, including zhenjunshan, Zhonggulou, luozishan, Beimen, mapuqian, fuxingting, tashuiqiao and Lujingyuan. Beimen street is an important section of Ji'an city. The hardening and greening area is 100%. The jurisdiction area is about 10 square kilometers, with a population of 67633 (in 2010). There are 108 party and government organs, enterprises and institutions, including 8 provincial, 72 municipal and 28 district governments. The CPC Ji'an Municipal Committee, the CPC Jizhou District Committee and the CPC District government are all within the jurisdiction. The street Party Working Committee has 8 community party committees with more than 1200 members. There are 52 Street cadres and 36 community cadres.
