Tuqiao town

Tuqiao Town, belonging to Linxia County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the northeast of Linxia County, bordering Xianfeng Township in the East, Qiaosi Township in the south, Potou Township in the West and Beiyuan Township in the north. The area is 24.63 square kilometers. In 2018, 18833 people registered residence.

In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the four associations of BEIXIANG. Before liberation, it belonged to Renshou township. In 1950, it belonged to sanjiaoxiang. In July 1998, Tuqiao town was established. In December 2004, the township was withdrawn and merged with the town, and Sanjiao township of Linxia county was merged and put under the jurisdiction of Tuqiao town. In October 2019, Tuqiao town governs one community and eight administrative villages.
