Yongan Township is located in the northwest coast of Kaohsiung City, Taiwan Province. It is adjacent to qieyang District in the north, Gangshan District in the East, lianluzhu District in the northeast, Taiwan Strait in the west, and Mituo District in the south. There are Taipower Xingda thermal power plant and CNPC natural gas receiving station in the district. It is an important energy receiving and transmitting center in South Taiwan.
