Helonghu town

Helonghu town in Xiangyin County, formerly known as Chengxi Town, was established in January 2005. It is a combination of five administrative regions, namely haohekou Town, Nanyang Town, Gutang Township, Xianglin Township and helonghu administrative region, in the process of institutional reform of removing villages and building towns. It is named "Chengxi town" and renamed "helonghu town" in April 2011. Now it has jurisdiction over 38 administrative villages and 3 communities, with a total area of 122 square kilometers and a total population of 72000. It is a big town in the lake district.

Helonghu Town, formerly known as Chengxi Town, was established in January 2005. Now it has jurisdiction over 38 administrative villages and 3 communities, with a total area of 122 square kilometers and a total population of 72000. It is a big town in the lake district. The town is separated from the county by a bridge, with Guruo in the East, Changsha in the south, Yiyang in the West and Dongting Lake in the north. Provincial highway S308 runs through the East and West, surrounded by Xiangzi water. It is a green agricultural products production, supply, processing base and leisure tourism service base. Helonghu town is located in the middle of Xiangyin County. It covers an area of 109.4 square kilometers and has a population of 72422 (at the end of 2009). It has jurisdiction over 3 neighborhood committees, 43 administrative villages and 3 industrial and mining areas. The town government is stationed in dongzha.
