Shimen Township
Shimen Township, belonging to Lintan County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the east of Lintan County, adjacent to Taohe River in the East, Wangqi Township in the southeast, Wangqi Township and dianzi Township in the south, dianzi Township in the southwest, Xincheng Township in the west, and Yangsha Township in the north, northwest and northeast. The area is 132.97 square kilometers. In 2018, 7370 people registered residence.
In 1953, it was under the jurisdiction of Lintan county. In 1953, the township was established. In 1958, it was incorporated into Xincheng commune. In 1962, it was renamed Shimen commune. In 1983, the township was restored. In June 2020, Shimen rural governs 10 administrative villages.
In 2018, there were two industrial enterprises in Shimen Township and one comprehensive store or supermarket with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

In June 2020, Shimen village governs 10 administrative villages: daheqiao village, luobugou village, Caoshan village, daqiaoguan village, sandangou village, zhanqihe village, zhalanggou village, liangjiapo village, Shimenkou village and Yuanli village. The Township People's government is stationed in daqiaoguan village.
