Jiulong street is located in the southwest of Qilu Lake Basin. It has two main roads, namely, loach Ditch Road and transit road, connecting Tongyu Road and the county seat. The traffic is very convenient.

geographical position

Jiulong sub district office is located in the southwest of Qilu Lake Basin, between longitude 102 ° 35 ′ 36 "～ 102 ° 43 ′ 09" and latitude 24 ° 01 ′ 33 "～ 24 ° 08 ′ 55". It is high in the South and low in the north, 11.2km wide in the East and West, and 13.5km long in the north and south. It is connected with Xiushan sub district office and Lishan Township in the East, GAODA and Shiping County in the south, ledejuo and Hexi Town in Tonghai County in the west, and Xinghai County in the north Mengxiang is connected with Sijie town. The office is located 8 kilometers away from the county, flat terrain, with loach ditch highway and transit highway two trunk roads connecting Tongyu highway and the county, the traffic is very convenient.

The whole street covers an area of 81.31 square kilometers. The mountain area accounts for 50% of the total area. The main mountain ranges are meiziqing mountain and laoyashuijing mountain, which are the boundary between Eshan and Shiping counties. Ma'er mountain and tuo'er mountain are the mountain groups in the territory. Bixi river runs through the street office from the south, and then flows into Qilu Lake. The average elevation of the whole street is 1805 meters, the highest point is tuopi mountain (2302 meters), and the lowest point is sanjiadaqiao Valley (1401 meters). The annual average temperature is 17.0 ℃, and the average annual rainfall is 950.6 mm.

administrative division

By the end of 2016, Jiulong street had jurisdiction over 7 communities, 2 mountainous villages, 65 natural villages and 64 Village (resident) groups. Tuantian and Shuitang are mountainous villages, and the seven communities are Dali, Sanyi, Jiujie, Bixi, Yuanshan, Jiulong and dahezui.

Nationality and population

There are 15 ethnic groups in Jiulong street, including Han, Yi, Hani, Bai, Zhuang, Hui, Miao, Buyi, Dai, Naxi, WA, Mongolia, Lisu, Lahu and Dong. Through long-term integration, all ethnic groups live in harmony, forming a situation of "big mixed, small concentrated". Tuantian and Shuitang, two mountainous villages under the jurisdiction of the sub district office, are inhabited by Yi and Hani respectively. By the end of 2016, the total population of the whole street was 12328 households with 36330 people, including 17947 males and 18383 females. The Han population is 33042, accounting for 90.95% of the total population, and the minority population is 3288, accounting for 9.05% of the total population. The natural growth rate of population is 5.81 ‰.
