Huaming Street

The former Huaming Town, Dongli District, Tianjin is now Huaming sub district office, Dongli District, Tianjin. It now covers an area of about 150 square kilometers.

In July 2020, it won the honorary title of national health Township from 2017 to 2019.

Evolution of organizational system

In 1958, it belonged to Xinli village commune. In 1962, it established huangcaotuo commune and laterite commune. In 1983, it changed to huangcaotuo Township and laterite township.

In 1992, Chitu township was abolished and Chitu town was established. In 1994, huangcaotuo township was abolished and Huaming town was established.

In 1996, Huaming Town, with an area of 58.9 square kilometers and a population of 20000, governed seven administrative villages, namely Fanzhuang, Beituo, NANTUO, Zhaozhuang, Zhuzhuang, limingzhuang and yumingzhuang; Chitu Town, with an area of 155 square kilometers and a population of 22000, governed eight administrative villages, namely Chitu, Guanzhuang, nanyubao, beiyubao, Yonghe, lichangzi, huzhangzhuang and Haifeng.

In October 2001, Chitu town was abolished and merged into Huaming town.

In August 2006, Huaming town was officially abolished and Huaming street was established.

geographical environment

Huaming sub district office of Dongli District of Tianjin is located in the north central part of Dongli District, covering an area of 156 square kilometers. It is adjacent to Donglihu sub district office in the East, dabizhuang sub district office and lushandao sub district office in Hedong District in the west, Dongxin sub district office and Wanxin sub district office in Hedong District in the west, Tianjin Binhai International Airport and Tianjin Airport Economic Zone in the south, Zhuangjia town in Ninghe county and xiditou town in Beichen District in the north, about 10km away from the urban area and about 35km away from Tianjin port. The North Ring Railway and Tianjin Wuhan highway run through the East and West, the outer ring line, yangbei highway and Dongjin road run parallel in the north and south, the Beijing Tianjin Tangshan expressway runs through the territory, and the entrance and exit of Tianjin toll station are located in the territory. The planned Shan Guang Expressway and Tianjin Shenyang high-speed railway will soon pass through Huaming new town.

Economic overview

Huaming sub district office of Dongli District of Tianjin is the pioneer of new rural construction. Huaming sub District Office (Huaming town at that time) was used as a project of urban best practice area to show the construction achievements to the world during the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. Modern residential buildings are planned orderly, and farmers move into the building life by changing the homestead. It not only realizes the innovation of rural urbanization construction ideas, but also makes use of the concentration of low efficiency farmers' homestead, unified consolidation and rehabilitation, realizes the intensive use of land, makes the ecological environment improved significantly, and the living standard of urban residents improved significantly.

Industrial Zone Development

Huaming high tech Industrial Park is located in Huaming sub district office of Dongli District, Tianjin. It is approved by Tianjin Municipal People's government and an important carrier to promote the linkage development of "three districts" and enhance the economic strength of districts and counties. The park is located in the north central part of Dongli District, with Huafan town in the East, the adjustment line of outer ring road in the west, Jinhan highway in the South and Jinzhong road in the north. The planned area is 27.3 square kilometers, and the developed area is 10 square kilometers.
