Liucheng Street

Liucheng street is the source of Haisi, the hometown of Chenggong, and one of the top 100 counties in China. It is the central town of Nan'an in Fujian Province. It is the largest street in Quanzhou area. It is named Liucheng after inheriting the reputation of a thousand year old Prefecture.

Liucheng Street area is located in the southeast gate of Nan'an City. It is an important gateway to Xiamen, Quanzhou and other places in Nan'an City. The spacious Chenggong street, Pulian road and NANDA road run through the whole area. Quanzhou Ring Expressway (with two exits of "Nan'an" and "Nan'an south") has very convenient transportation.

Liucheng street has a permanent resident population of 126600, with industrial and commercial tax revenue (excluding direct municipal tax revenue) of 456 million yuan, with a total area of 71.9 square kilometers, an urban area of 25.5 square kilometers, and a forest coverage rate of 60%. Historical evolution

Fengzhou ancient city was built by Xia ruli, the magistrate of Nan'an in 1559 to prevent Japanese pirates. Before the city was built, willow was planted around the city, so it was also called "Liucheng". After the county government moved to Ximei, the nickname of Ximei was "Liucheng". In Song Dynasty, it belonged to chongshanli, Guishan township; in Yuan Dynasty, Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty, it belonged to 22, 30 and 32 capitals respectively.

In the 17th and later years of the Republic of China, it was a part of Ximei town. In the 35th year of the Republic of China, it belonged to the first district and the directly subordinate district. Rongqiao township was established in the 35th year of the Republic of China. At the beginning of liberation, it belonged to the first district; in 1956, it belonged to Meilin district; after 1958, it belonged to Chengguan (commune, district); in September 1984, Chengguan commune was merged into Ximei town. In 1999, Ximei town was abolished and Ximei street and Liucheng street were established.

Human history

Liucheng has a long and rich cultural heritage. It is the hometown of Li Zhi, a famous thinker in Ming Dynasty, Li Yuanzhe, a Nobel Prize winner, and Lin Donghai, a famous contemporary scholar. There are baiyun temple, a famous temple, and Kaihua cave, an ancient relic. Xixi stretches for 9.8 kilometers in Liucheng. Nanshan is towering, green and beautiful.

In 2019, the industrial output value will reach 9.282 billion yuan, with 27 Enterprises above Designated Size, including leading stone building materials enterprises such as Xishi, GANGLONG, Baofeng, yataohui and Hongfa, and mechanical equipment enterprises such as Chenggong, Delin and Huida, forming advantageous industries such as building materials, machinery manufacturing, construction engineering and urban service industry. In 2019, there will be 680 new enterprises with a registered capital of 2.603 billion yuan, and 1559 new individual businesses with a registered capital of 90.0617 million yuan.

In 2019, the total agricultural output value will be 110 million yuan, the mountainous area will be 4133.33 hectares, the cultivated area will be 733.33 hectares, and the labor force will be 52196. The area is rich in fruit resources such as red bayberry, longan and olive. Sanbao village's "shanbaohei" red bayberry has won the title of provincial green brand. In addition, there are Sanglin thousand mu vegetable base, Lujiang Comprehensive Development Zone, Rongqiao hybrid rice demonstration plot and other agricultural production bases, with broad prospects for agricultural development.
