The old city street belongs to Hanbin District, Ankang City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the middle of Hanbin District, bordering Xinshi village with T-shaped front street in the East, Xingan road in the south, Jinchuan street in the west, and Jiangbei street across the river in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 4.1km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 1.2km, with a total area of 3.11km2.

As of June 2020, nine communities are under the jurisdiction of Laocheng street. In 2011, the total population of Laocheng street was 81600, the total industrial output value reached 80 million yuan, and the total social commodity sales reached 1.02 billion yuan.

Historical evolution

It gets its name because its jurisdiction belongs to the old city block.

In 1949, it was the East and west districts of Chengguan town.

In 1958, Dongcheng, Dabei and Xicheng communities were established.

In 1960, it was changed into two administrative areas, East and West.

In 1967, Dongcheng and Xicheng communes were established.

In 1979, Dongcheng and Xicheng communities were established.

In November 1996, the old city streets were merged and established.
