Dongga Street

Dongga town belongs to duilongdeqing District, Lhasa City, Tibet Autonomous Region of the people's Republic of China, with an area of 47.55 square kilometers (2017). It has jurisdiction over two village committees and one neighborhood committee, with 17 natural villages. The town people's government is located in Nanga village. There are 15100 people in the town (2017), including Tibetan and Han nationalities.

Historical evolution

The township was established in 1962, renamed people's commune in 1970, resumed in 1984, and tongga and Sangmu were incorporated in 1987.
