Wanfu town

Wanfu Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Gaizhou City, Yingkou City, Liaoning Province, is located in the east of Gaizhou City, adjacent to Kuangdonggou town in the East, bordering guiyunhua town of Zhuanghe City in Dalian in the southeast, Shizijie town in the southwest, xiaoshipeng town in the West and Liangtun town in the North, with an administrative area of 223.64 square kilometers.

In 1945, the Communist Party liberated Gaixian county and established Wanfu district government. In August 1984, Wanfu town was changed. In August 1992, it belonged to Gaizhou city. On November 22, 2001, luotun township was merged into Wanfu town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Wanfu town was 36488. As of June 2020, Wanfu town has one community and 16 administrative villages.

In 2011, the total financial revenue of Wanfu town was 6.376 million yuan, an increase of 3.6% over the previous year. From the perspective of major taxes, the business tax is 728000 yuan and the value-added tax is 1384000 yuan. The per capita net income of farmers is 7300 yuan. In 2018, Wanfu town has 10 industrial enterprises and 15 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In 1945, the Communist Party liberated Gaixian county and established Wanfu district government.

In June 1946, Wanfu county was founded. In October of the same year, the Communist Party transferred its strategy, and the Kuomintang troops occupied Wanfu County, implementing the system of Township, security and Party A.

In June 1947, Wanfu district was renamed Shifo district (lime kiln).

In November 1948, Wanfu county system was abolished, and the division of stone Buddha under its jurisdiction belonged to gai county.

In May 1949, Shifo district was renamed Wanfu district.

In July 1950, the county named Wanfu district as the 16th district according to the number.

In June 1951, Hexi District was merged into Wanfu district and renamed the 12th district office.

In March 1956, the whole county merged with the district to build the township, and the original seven districts (Liangtun) were merged into Wanfu district.

In June 1958, Wanfu commune was established by merging districts and townships in the county. On October 1 of the same year, GAIPING commune was established, with Wanfu brigade under the jurisdiction of the county.

In March 1959, GAIPING County commune was abolished, Wanfu brigade was changed into Wanfu commune, and the original operation area was changed into production brigade.

In May 1961, Wanfu commune was divided into Wanfu commune and luotun commune.

In June 1983, the establishment of the commune was abolished and Wanfu commune was transformed into a township.

In August 1984, it was changed to Wanfu town.

In August 1992, it belongs to Gaizhou city.

On November 22, 2001, luotun township was merged into Wanfu town.

At the end of 2011, Wanfu town had 1 community and 16 administrative villages: Fuzhuang community, Wanfu, qincaigou, yangmulin, houyanzha, qianyanzha, xichaoyang, Shiling, qianxubao, Wutun, zuoshudian, hongtun, Qinghe, xinglongtun, Weitang, guizigou, dongchaoyang; 173 villager groups.

As of June 2020, Wanfu town has one community and 16 administrative villages: Fuzhuang community, Wanfu village, qincaigou village, yangmulin village, houyanzha village, qianyanzha village, xichaoyang village, Shiling village, qianxubao village, Wutun village, hongtun village, zuoshudian village, Qinghe Village, xinglongtun village, guizigou village, Weitang village and dongchaoyang temple village. The town people's government is stationed in Wanfu village.
