Shuangyang Town, subordinate to Linghai City, Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southwest of Linghai City, adjacent to Dalinghe street in the East, Jianye township of Taihe District in the south, Linghe District in the West and Daye town in the north, with an administrative area of 97.8 square kilometers.
In 1957, it was Shuangyang and Xinzhan townships under the jurisdiction of Jin county; in 1984, it was changed into Shuangyang Town; in 1993, Shuangyang Town belonged to Linghai city. By the end of 2018, the population of Shuangyang Town registered residence was 24508. As of June 2020, Shuangyang Town has jurisdiction over one community and 14 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in Shuangyang village.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Shuangyang Town was 100 million yuan. Among them, the local fiscal revenue is 60 million yuan. The per capita net income of farmers is 12368 yuan. History of construction
In 1957, it was the township of Shuangyang and Xinzhan under the jurisdiction of Jin county.
In 1961, it was the Shuangyang commune under the jurisdiction of Jin county.
In 1968, it was the reform committee of Shuangyang commune under the jurisdiction of Jin county.
In 1980, the reform committee of Shuangyang commune was changed into the Management Committee of Shuangyang commune.
In 1984, it was changed to Shuangyang Town.
In 1993, Shuangyang Town belonged to Linghai city.

As of June 2020, Shuangyang Town has jurisdiction over one community and 14 administrative villages: Shuangyang community, Zhengbang village, Xinglong Village, Shuangyang village, Zijing village, yaoluzi village, Wuqi village, Wolong village, nangangzi village, Xinzhan village, Renzi village, Changshanzi village, Mingzi village, Sifang village and Jiuzi village. The town people's government is stationed in Shuangyang village.

History and culture
In the Qing Dynasty, when the village was built, it was named "shuangyangdian" because it was located in the south of the Bauhinia mountain and on the meadow on the left of the Xiaolinghe River where the official horses were herding. During the period of the Japanese puppet regime, "shuangyangdian" was changed to "shuangyangdian" in order to distinguish the same name between the former "shuangyangdian station" and other stations.
