Tangchi Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Dashiqiao City, Yingkou City, Liaoning Province, is located in the east of Dashiqiao City, bordering Zhoujia and Huangtuling in the East, Boluopu Yong'an in the west, Gaizhou in the South and Haicheng in the north, with an administrative area of 131.17 square kilometers.

Before February 1956, it belonged to GAIPING County; in November 1992, Yingkou county was changed into Dashiqiao City, which belonged to Dashiqiao City; in February 2002, towns merged, and the former Weiziyu town and Tangchi Town merged to form Tangchi Town, which still belonged to Dashiqiao City. By the end of 2018, 42552 people registered residence in the town of Tong Chi. As of June 2020, Tangchi town has 22 administrative villages.

History of construction

Before February 1956, it belonged to GAIPING county.

In March 1956, Tangchi district was established, belonging to Yingkou county.

In February 1958, Tangchi district was abolished and Tangchi township was built, belonging to Yingkou county.

In September 1958, a commune was established in Yingkou county.

In September 1983, the commune was transformed into a township, and its subordinate relationship remained unchanged.

In October 1984, Tangchi township was transformed into Tangchi Town, belonging to Yingkou county.

In November 1992, Yingkou county was changed into Dashiqiao City, belonging to Dashiqiao City.

In February 2002, townships merged, and the former Weiziyu town and Tangchi Town merged to form Tangchi Town, which still belongs to Dashiqiao City.
