Linjiang Street
Linjiang street, a street under the jurisdiction of Zhenxing District, Dandong City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northeast of Zhenxing District. It is adjacent to the Yalu River flood control dam in the southeast, Liudaogou street across gyms road in the southwest, Yongchang street bounded by Zhenwu street in the northwest, and Dandong Railway Station freight arrival and distribution yard in the northeast, with a total area of 1.75 square kilometers.
In 1931, the Japanese invaders occupied Northeast China. Today, Yongchang street, Linjiang street, is divided into Xuri District, with three sub districts of South, North and Zhenjiang. In January 1998, Linjiang street was divided into Linjiang and Yongchang by Zhenwu street. At the end of 2011, the total population of Linjiang street was 5414. As of June 2020, Linjiang street has 11 communities under its jurisdiction.
In 2011, the total revenue of Linjiang street was 104 million yuan. From the perspective of major taxes, the business tax is 35 million yuan, the value-added tax is 16 million yuan, the enterprise income tax is 40 million yuan, and the individual income tax is 10 million yuan.
History of construction
In 1931, the Japanese invaders occupied Northeast China. Today, Yongchang street, Linjiang street, is divided into Xuri District, which is divided into South, North and Zhenjiang districts.
In 1945, after the surrender of Japan, the Communist Party of China established the people's Government of Anton city. Now Linjiang street is under the jurisdiction of Zhenxing District (the Fourth District).
In the 36th year of the Republic of China (1947), Anton was liberated for the second time and was still under the jurisdiction of Zhenxing District Office. There are four street offices under Yongchang street and Linjiang street, namely Binjiang, Minzhu, Fumin and Yongchang.
In 1950, the street office was abolished, and Binjiang, Minzhu and Fumin streets were managed by Zhenjiang police station.
In 1953, four neighborhood committees including Binjiang, Minzhu, Fumin and Yongchang were established.
In 1956, the central district (today's toudaoqiao, Zhanqian Street) and Zhenxing District merged to form the Zhenxing District People's Committee and Zhenjiang street.
In 1960, Zhenjiang street was renamed Zhenjiang commune.
In 1965, Anton city was renamed Dandong City, Zhenxing District was renamed Zhenxing District; in the same year, Zhenjiang commune was renamed Linjiang commune.
In 1968, Linjiang commune set up three revolutionary committees: Binjiang, Minzhu and Fumin.
In 1979, the city commune was abolished and the street name was restored.
In January 1998, Linjiang street was divided into Linjiang street and Yongchang street by Zhenwu street.
