Gongnong street is located in the west of Jianxi District of Luoyang City, reaching Gushui in the East and connecting with Wuhan road and Chongqing Road streets; cijian town of Xin'an County in the West; Qinling Mountains in the South and Yingzhou Road Office of high tech Zone; Jianhe river in the north and Hongshan Township of Xigong District. Its total area is 14.39 square kilometers.

Evolution of organizational system

On August 17, 2012, Henan Provincial Department of Civil Affairs replied: with the approval of Henan Provincial People's government, it is agreed to cancel Gongnong Township, establish Gongnong street and implement urban management system (yuminxingpi No. 17). On May 10, 2013, the district Party committee and the district government decided to carry out a new round of zoning adjustment. The 10 villages and 3 communities in the East were assigned to other offices nearby, and the Gongnong sub district office was officially established.
