In 1978, Longfeng commune was changed into Longfeng street. In June 1999, Longfeng street in open air district was renamed Longfeng street in Dongzhou District. As of June 2020, Longfeng street has jurisdiction over 9 communities, and its sub district office is located at 11-1 Jinshan street.
