Dongzhou Street

Dongzhou street, belonging to Dongzhou District, Fushun City, Liaoning Province, is located in the east of Dongzhou District, adjacent to Nianpan Township in the East, Dalian street and Nianpan Township in the south, Dalian street across Dongzhou bridge in the West and Zhangdang street across the river in the north. Its total area is 6.7 square kilometers. At the end of 2011, the total population of Dongzhou sub district was 58577.

In 1946, xiaojiabang Town Office was established. In February 1949, xiaojiabang village was established. In 1953, the village office was abolished and the village government was established. In 1954, Dongzhou street was established. In October 1957, the people's Committee of Dong'an district was changed into the people's Committee street of Dongzhou District. In 1960, Dongzhou street, No.2 oil plant and thermal power company formed Dongzhou commune. In April 1962, Dongzhou commune set up Zhangdian commune. In August 1978, Dongzhou commune was changed into Dongzhou street. As of June 2020, Dongzhou street has jurisdiction over 14 communities, and its sub district office is located at No. 8, Qing'an Road, Dongzhou street.
