Baiyun Street is an administrative street under the Yuexiu District People's Government of Guangzhou city. Its predecessor is guangjiu street, which was established in 1950. Baiyun Street is located in the southeast of Yuexiu District. It starts from Donghu road in the East and the east end of Ersha Island in the East, and faces Donghu street and Haixinsha in Haizhu District respectively. It goes to donghaoyong in the west, and is adjacent to Zhuguang street. It borders Dadong street with xinhepuyong in the North, and faces Haizhu District across the river with Pearl River in the south. It covers an area of 3.08 square kilometers and has 46768 people (in 2010). There are 9 neighborhood committees in the jurisdiction. Baiyun Street area flat terrain, surrounded by water, convenient transportation, densely populated, is the people live, business investment treasure.

Historical evolution
According to records, Baiyun Street was formerly guangjiu street in Dongshan District, which was founded in 1950. Guangjiu street was renamed Hongyun street in 1967 and Baiyun Street in 1985. In 2005, Dongshan District was merged into Yuexiu District, and Baiyun Street was under the management of Yuexiu District.
