Taojiatun town

Taojiatun Town, belonging to Gongzhuling City, Changchun City, Jilin Province, is located in the east of Gongzhuling City, bordering Xiangshui town in the East, Jingtai town of Yitong County in the southeast, Liufangzi town in the southwest, Heilinzi town in the northwest and Fanjiatun town in the northeast, with a total area of 119.62 square kilometers.

In April 1948, taojiatun town belonged to the Tenth District of Huaide County; in December 1992, taojiatun town was transformed into taojiatun town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Tao Jia Tun Town was 30377. As of June 2020, taojiatun town has one community and 15 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the people's Government of the town is stationed in taojiatun community.

In taojiatun Town, corn is the main food crop, and pig, cattle, sheep and poultry are the main animal husbandry. In 2018, there were three industrial enterprises in taojiatun Town, including two above scale enterprises and 170 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In April 1948, it was the Tenth District of Huaide county. In March 1949, it belonged to the first district of Huaide county.

In August 1955, taojiatun and Yihe townships were set up, belonging to the first district of Huaide county.

In October 1958, taojiatun, Yihe and Liufangzi were merged into Liufangzi commune.

In April 1961, Liufangzi commune established taojiatun commune.

In May 1983, taojiatun commune was transformed into taojiatun township.

In December 1992, taojiatun township was transformed into taojiatun town.
