Heping Township
Heping Township belongs to Xinlong County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province.
Heping township is under the jurisdiction of Xinlong County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. In 1957, Maxi Township and jiaxigeri Township were set up. In 1960, the two townships were merged to establish Heping township. In 1973, they were changed into communes and resumed in 1984. Located in the south of the county, 61 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 236.06 square kilometers and has a population of 2007 (2017). It has jurisdiction over four village committees, namely, Maxi, Jiaxi, Zhuqing and RIBA. Agricultural production of wheat, highland barley, peas, potatoes. It is rich in apples and walnuts. The LeGuo cave in zhaga mountain is several kilometers long, with a variety of stone forests.
