Xintian town

Xintian Town, belonging to Yuanzhou District, Yichun City, Jiangxi Province, is surrounded by Hutian, Xicun, Liaoshi, Jinrui, Hongtang and other five towns, 13 kilometers away from the urban area, with convenient transportation and superior geographical location. The Yici highway built in June 2016 passes by.

Xintian town has 14 village committees, 2 forest farms and 232 villager groups. In 2017, there were 33243 permanent residents in Xintian Town, with 27768 mu of cultivated land and 67795 mu of Camellia oleifera mountain. The annual total output value of industry and agriculture was 120 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 3020 yuan.

History of construction

At the end of 2009, with the approval of Jiangxi Provincial People's government, six townships in Yuanzhou District of Yichun City, including Hutian Township, Xintian Township, Wojiang Township, Lucun Township, Zhaixia Township and Xinfang Township, were changed from townships to towns.

In March 2010, six townships, including Xintian Township in Yuanzhou District of Yichun City, held a listing ceremony to remove townships and establish towns.

Xintian town is located in the subtropical hilly area, which belongs to the subtropical monsoon humid climate with mild climate and abundant rainfall. The annual average temperature is about 17 ℃, and the annual rainfall is about 1600 mm.

Xintian town is rich in natural resources, wood, coal, Carboniferous and other resources reserves in the region known. Camphor wood is rich in resources. Underground resources are mainly high-quality coal and limestone, of which coal has high heat, more than 6500 calories and large reserves.

Xintian town is an important grain producing area and rich in Camellia oleifera. It is known as the "hometown of agriculture". It has a long history of hand-made summer cloth and a high level of technology.

Xintian town has 27742 mu of arable land, including 24432 mu of paddy field, 3310 mu of dry land, 372 reservoirs and ponds of various types, 2082 mu of aquaculture water surface, including 15 reservoirs above the small type II. Grain, oil, hemp, pig and coal are the traditional products of Xintian, enjoying a high reputation in the whole region. Since ancient times, there have been three warehouses. There are oil warehouses (tea oil) on the mountain, grain warehouses (high-quality rice) on the ground and treasure warehouses (coal) underground. It is the national commodity grain base, high-quality ramie base and the hometown of high-quality oil tea.

The area of mountain forest in Xintian town is about 100000 mu, including 67795 mu of Camellia oleifera and more than 30000 mu of economic forest.

Communication power

Xintian town is well-developed in communication. Program controlled telephone has been fully opened, mobile communication transmitting base station and Unicom communication transmitting base station have been built, and various communication networks have covered the whole town. The power supply has been incorporated into the State Grid.

Transportation

At the beginning of 2005, all villages in Xintian town were connected with cement roads. Hufei highway passes through six villages, including shepeng and Xintian. Hurui expressway is 9.6 km across Xintian District, and only 9 km from the market town to the nearest expressway exit.
