Dongcun town

Xinzhou City governs the town. Xianfeng commune was established in 1958, Dongcun commune in 1961 and town in 1984. Located in the southeast of the city, 12.5km away from the urban area. It covers an area of 80 square kilometers and has a permanent population of 21290 (2017). Xin (Zhou) Hong (Road), Xin (Zhou) Jin (Shanpu) road transit. It has jurisdiction over 11 village committees, including Dong village, Linggui village, Nanhu village, Taiyan village, Sun Village, Youyao village, baijiashan village, Wujiashan village, Liujiashan village, dingxingzhai village and xiaojiashan village. Dongcun town of Xinfu District is located 12.5km southeast of Xinzhou City, with Wufeng mountain in the south, Muma River in the north, Dingxiang County in the East and Ziyan Township in the West. With a total area of 86.2 square kilometers, the town now has jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages. Xinhong highway runs across the East and West, forming a natural pattern of Beichuan on the south slope.
