Yingwu Township, located in the east of Panxian County, is the "East Gate" of Panxian county. In 1984, the people's Government of Yingwu township (originally belonging to Liuguan District) was established. In 1992, it was established and withdrawn as the people's Government of Yingwu township. It now governs 6 administrative villages and 105 villager groups, with a population of 21300, including 20360 farmers, basically solving the problem of food and clothing. The township covers a total area of 59.54 square kilometers, with 11254 mu of arable land, of which more than 60% is sloping land with 25 degrees above sea level. Yingwu coal is rich in water resources. The proven coal reserves are 400 million tons, the prospective reserves are 1.3 billion tons, and there is no certified mine. The state has planned to build 5 backbone mines of coal source supporting projects in the integration of coal chemical industry in Pandong, including 1 mine with an annual capacity of 1.8 million tons, 2 mines with an annual capacity of 300000 tons, and 2 mines with an annual capacity of 150000 tons. Guiyang Jiuhua group and gas source plant plan to build shagu backbone mine in our Township, with an annual capacity of 150000 tons. Since 2003, the investigation and design, geological data and other projects have been submitted to the county, city and province. The relevant procedures have been basically completed, but the land procedures are still to be approved. Our township is also rich in water resources, with water energy reserves of more than 480 million kilowatts, and can develop more than 300 million kilowatts. Approved by the municipal development and Reform Bureau, Yang Xingyu, an individual investor, plans to raise 40 million yuan for the construction of Yingwu Dashan hydropower station with a designed installed capacity of 6000 kW. After more than one year's efforts, the procedures have been completed and the project has been put into construction.

There is a coking plant in Yingwu Township, i.e. maguohe coking plant, which was set up by Zunyi individual investor Yang Hongmei with 6.5 million yuan of financing. It was completed and put into operation in August 2002, with an annual output of 75000 tons of coking coal and 2 million yuan of state land tax. At present, there is a gangue brick factory, which is invested and set up by Wang zengkun, a Chongqing native. It was completed and put into operation in August 2001, with a total investment of 480000 yuan. It produces 1 million silica bricks annually, with an annual output value of 200000 yuan and an annual tax of 5000 yuan.

Economic situation

In 2006, Yingwu Township achieved a total revenue of 1.82 million yuan, which mainly came from the creation tax of maguohe coking plant, highway engineering tax and land occupation tax of Pu'an Nanjing bridge power station. The tax type is single, the tax source is short of long-term, the proportion of one-time tax is large, and it is difficult to increase revenue.

The income source of Yingwu township people mainly depends on planting industry, accounting for about 50%. Among them, grain income is the main body, economic crops such as watermelon, economic fruit forest such as peach trees also account for a considerable proportion of agricultural income; breeding industry also accounts for a certain proportion, about 30%; labor income accounts for about 20%. In 2006, the total agricultural output value of the township was 27.667 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 1784 yuan.
