Chengxi Street

Chengxi street, Yongji City, Shanxi Province, is located in the west of Yongji city. It is one of the three streets in Yongji city and also the residence of Yongji municipal government.

In 1996, Chengguan town of Yongji city was abolished and Chengxi street was established. In 1997, Chengxi street was divided into 7 neighborhood committees and 8 village committees. In 2001, Renyang township was merged into Chengxi street. In 2012, Chengxi Street governed 17 administrative villages including Xiaozhang, Beiwang, Lidian, Zhuangzi, Shangzhuang, taigutun, taiyukou, shuiyukou, jieyukou, Renyang, Taoli, Lvban, Taining, dongyaowen, xiyaowen, Zhangzhi and Zhanghua, and seven communities including Yinghua, Kangle, Xixiang, Yuyuan, Liuyuan, Hedong and Zhongshan.

Chengxi street is located in a part of Yuncheng Basin. The terrain is low and flat. It belongs to temperate continental climate. It has four distinct seasons and abundant light and heat resources. The annual average temperature is 14.1 ℃, and the temperature in January is - 7.3 ℃, and in July is 27 ℃. The annual precipitation is 530-600mm. The proven mineral resources include phosphorite, quartzite and modern sedimentary gypsum. Zhongtiaoshan is rich in copper and aluminum mineral resources.

Yaowangtai

Yaowangtai is one of the birthplaces of human prehistoric civilization. According to the historical records of Yongji City, "yaowangtai is a cultural relic protection unit of Yongji City, belonging to the Paleolithic Age site. Shuiyukou scenic spot

Shuiyukou scenic spot is located in the South Zhongtiao Mountain of Yongji City, Shanxi Province, formerly known as shuigu, which has a history of more than 1000 years.
