Dongyaozi town

Dongyaozi Town, belonging to Qiaoxi District of Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the north of Qiaoxi District. It is connected with Gaojiaying township of Chongli District in the East, dajingmen street of Qiaoxi District in the south, Wanquan County in the West and youlangou township of Zhangbei County in the north. It is 4km away from Qiaoxi District People's government, with a total area of 104.08km2.

Before 1953, the territory of dongyaozi town was dongyaozi natural village; in March 1993, it was changed from dongyaozi township to dongyaozi town. By the end of 2018, the population of Dong Yao Zi registered residence was 21459. As of June 2020, dongyaozi town has 20 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located in miaodi street, dongyaozi village.

In 2018, there were 51 industrial enterprises in dongyaozi town and 26 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

Before 1953, dongyaozi town was a natural village.

In June 1953, dongyaozi township was established.

In the autumn of 1953, dongyaozi Township belonged to the teahouse district.

In 1956, xidianzi Township and waidongyaozi Township were merged into Gushi township.

In August 1958, dongyaozi Township and Gushi Township were merged into dongyaozi township.

In January 1959, dongyaozi township was changed into dongyaozi commune.

In May 1961, Qiaoxi District was abolished and changed into dongyaozi commune under the direct leadership of the city.

In March 1963, it was put under the jurisdiction of Chafang district.

In March 1984, dongyaozi commune was changed into dongyaozi township.

In February 1990, Chafang district was merged, and dongyaozi township was transferred to Qiaoxi District.

In March 1993, it was changed from dongyaozi township to dongyaozi town.
