Xinglong Town
Xinglong town is under the jurisdiction of Youyi county. It is located in the west of the county, adjacent to Jixian County in the West. Fuzhou Qianlong railway station is set here. The town government is 18 kilometers away from the county seat.
history
The name of Xinglong town comes from the place name of the residence. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, there were two or three families living here. Some people surnamed Li opened "yilongquan" cooking pot, which was named "Xinglong" because of its prosperous business. After the Republic of China, part of the land began to be reclaimed and belonged to Fujin county. Xinglong Village was set up in the late period of the Japanese occupation in Northeast China. After the victory of the Anti Japanese war in 1945, it was transferred to Jixian County in June 1946 and set up Xinglong District, which was changed into the ninth district in 1950. In March 1956, Xinglong Township was set up. In the autumn of 1958, it was renamed Xinglong people's commune, which was immediately incorporated into (transitional) friendship farm and renamed Shichang. In April 1960, after the establishment of friendship farm, Xinglong Township was set up. In June 1968, he was stationed in the division headquarters of the third division of the production and Construction Corps and the first battalion headquarters of the 18th regiment. In February 1976, the production and Management Bureau of Xinglong friendship farm was abolished. In August 1985, the establishment of Xinglong Town in Youyi county was approved. The town has 14 villages including Xinglong, Heping, Lihua, Pengsheng, zouji, Hefa, Zhongxing, Houshi, Beijiang, Ping'an, qingniangzhuang, Xingsheng, simajia and Ailin. At the end of 2007, the total population of the town was 31000, of which 22500 were non-agricultural; the population of Manchu, Hui, Korean and other ethnic minorities accounted for about 5.9%. The town government is located in Xinglong Village.
Ancient human sites
About 200 meters to the west of Xinmintun, Xishan ancient castle is located on the top of the mountain. There are inner and outer cities. There are 133 semi crypts on the west slope of the castle. According to the research, it is believed that it is the yilou site of the iron age.
education
Xinglong town school is a nine-year school. There are 12 compulsory education classes in primary and secondary schools. The students come from 14 villages in the town, with a total number of 536. The number of teaching staff is 41. All the teachers are qualified. The campus covers an area of 75000 square meters, the school building area of 5860 square meters, and the average student area of 139 square meters.
