Chengdong Street

Chengdong street, Wucheng District, Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province is located in the east of Jinhua old city. It is adjacent to Dongxiao street in the East, Shengli Street in the west, Zhejiang Jiangxi railway in the north and Shangfu bridge in the south, with an area of 4.54 square kilometers and a population of 32674 (2010). The sub district office is located at 256 Qingchun Road. In 1950, it belonged to Chengdong street and suburban office. In 1951, the street was renamed as the town area. After 1958, it was called the people's commune. In 1984, it was divided into Chengdong street and Chengjiao township. In 1992, the two village committees of Chengjiao Township and shangfuqiao were merged into Chengdong street, which was named after being located in the east of Jinhua City.

Chengdong Street governs eight communities including Qingchun Road, Tongyuan, tahia temple, Jingxiao street, bayonglou, shangfuqiao, Renmin East Road and Fuqiao street, and two economic cooperatives in shangfuqiao and Dongjiao.
