Dongcheng Street

Dongcheng Street refers to Dongcheng Street, Xichang City, Sichuan Province. The office is located at 42 shangyushi street, east of Shengli Bridge, Xichang City.

On December 13, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Liangshan Prefecture to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in six counties (cities), including Xichang City (cfzm [2019] No. 18): the administrative areas of former Union Village, Tuanjie village, Wangjia village, Zhongsuo village in Gaojian Township and Nantan village and youjiatun village in Xijiao Township were under the jurisdiction of Dongcheng Street, and Dongcheng Street office was located at 63 Nantan road. After the adjustment, Dongcheng Street governs Nanyuan community, Liushulin community, Jiankang Road community, Chuncheng community and the administrative areas of Lianhe village, Tuanjie village, Wangjia village, Zhongsuo village, Nantan village and youjiatun village.

The CPC Xichang Dongcheng sub District Working Committee and Dongcheng sub district office are located at 42 shangyushi street, east of Shengli Bridge, Xichang City. The unit covers an area of 3 mu, with a total area of about 5.8 square kilometers. Liangshan tobacco company in the East, Nanqiao center in the west, haiheqiao in the South and Liangshan psychiatric hospital in the north. In addition, South Street and Yongquan Street are surrounded by Shangxi street, Fu Street and Sanya street. There are 168 organs, enterprises and institutions in the area, including 9 provincial units, 33 state-level party and government organs, 13 municipal Party and government organs, 76 state-level and municipal enterprises and institutions, 5 financial institutions, 2 universities and technical secondary schools, 1 middle school, 5 primary schools and 4 kindergartens. There are 4 neighborhood committees with a total population of 40977 (2010), which are divided into 137 units in Hedong neighborhood committee area with 23412 residents, including 1641 residents; 7 units in Nanjie neighborhood committee area with 2878 residents, including 1193 residents; 2 units in Yongquan neighborhood committee area with 1813 residents, including 1464 residents; 22 units in Nanyuan community with 3165 residents. This is the seat of Liangshan State Party committee, government and people's Congress. It is the political, economic and cultural center of Liangshan state.
