Zhangdian town is located in the southwest of Luyi County, Henan Province, on the South Bank of Qingshui River, bordering Dancheng in the south, two townships of Shiliang and Zhaocun in the north, pig iron village in the East and Renji Township in the West. The Shang Shen highway runs through the East. It is 12.5 km long from east to west and 6.5 km wide from north to south, with a total area of about 60 square kilometers and 56698 mu of arable land.

Evolution of organizational system

Zhangdian commune was established in 1975 and the township was changed in 1983. In 1997, it covered an area of 60 square kilometers and had a population of 42000.

We mainly plant wheat, corn, soybean, sorghum, cotton, tobacco, etc., develop greenhouse vegetables, process agricultural products, and increase farmers' income. The tailing industry is the Central Plains industry of Zhangdian, and a large number of farmers are engaged in tailing processing industry.
