Xizhang Township
Old town name. See Xizhang town for details. The former Xizhang township is under the jurisdiction of Xinfu District, Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province. Located in the southeast of the city, 5 km away from the city.
Evolution of organizational system
It belonged to rocket commune in 1958 and Xizhang commune in 1961. Xizhang township was established in 1984. in 2019, Xizhang town will be established by merging with Ziyan township.
