Xiangyang Town, which is located in Tongjiang City, Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the southern part of Tongjiang City. It is linked to Qinggil Township and Tongjiang town. The south is bordered by the town of Le ye, west of Songhua River, and north of Qinggil Township and Tongjiang town. In 2018, the area was 184.50 square kilometers, and the registered residence population was 6946.

In 1934, Xiangyang fort was set up. In May 1956, it was changed to Xiangyang Township. In March 1984, the commune was transformed into a township. In March 2005, Liming Village (excluding Youyi Village), Tongxing village and Tongfu village of Qianwei Township were included. In 2016, the township was replaced by township. As of October 2019, Xiangyang town has 10 administrative villages.
