Gaochuan Township

Gaochuan Township, belonging to Cangxian County, Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, is located in the southwest of Cangxian County, adjacent to huangdipu Township in the East, Qiqiao town of Botou City in the south, Gaoguan township of Xian County in the west, cuierzhuang town in the north. The Township People's government is 30 kilometers away from Cangxian people's government, with a total area of 65 square kilometers.

History of construction

In August 1945, Gaochuan Township belonged to qingcangjiao county.

From 1948 to 1953, it belonged to Jianguo county.

In 1954, it was assigned to Cangxian County, belonging to 11 districts (in cuierzhuang).

In September 1958, three townships of cuierzhuang, Gaochuan and Yancun were merged into the fourth commune of Hongqi in Cang county (located in cuierzhuang), which was the Gaochuan administrative area.

In 1961, Gaochuan commune was established.

In 1984, it was changed to Gaochuan township.
